Supported by the Altum Group
The Altum Foundation is the charitable foundation of the Altum Group - a dynamic collective of recruitment firms. Together, we support our long-term charitable partners: Resurgo Trust, Street Child, and the Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. Supporting these charities is a vital feature of our business and allows us to make a positive impact on the world whilst helping the next generation. Working directly with our partners, our focus is on delivering better health, quality education and developing future leaders. Every Altum Group staff member gets the chance to work directly with our partners.

Making an impact
Established to embed a culture of altruism in business, the Altum Foundation supports life-changing organisations through ambitious, inspiring fundraising challenges. The Altum Foundation is supported by the Altum Group. A young, evolving group of companies whose aim as recruitment consultants is to give people the power to fulfil their potential.
We’re passionate about making a positive impact on the world, so we officially created our foundation in January 2018 to apply our entrepreneurial instincts and proactive attitude to fundraising for important causes.
All Altum Group staff are foundation members and we give them tangible experiences to connect with our charitable partners. Every member of staff also takes a day to work with one of our charities directly, or do their own fundraising, where each year we will match up to £250 raised per staff member.
£200,000 RAISED SO FAR...
We started our journey by helping some incredible people to do amazing things. “The Altumate Challenge” supported adventure enthusiasts around the world with their fundraising efforts and we were part of some incredible adventures and community initiatives.
In 2015 Gareth and Joe led the Pan Andean Challenge, breaking a land sailing world record across South America.
In 2016 Tegan completed ten IronMan triathlons, circumnavigating the South Island of New Zealand in just twenty days. She cycled 1800km, ran 422km, and swam 40km.
In 2017, fourteen friends came together to run ten marathons in ten days across Sierra Leone.
Building on our love of adventure and success in fundraising we launched our first “Altumate Experience” for Altum Group staff in 2018.
The 2019 Altumate Experience
The idea behind our Altumate Experiences is to create life-changing adventures for our people, pushing them to achieve more than they ever thought possible, whilst raising money for the foundation. Twenty Altum Group colleagues have just completed an incredible adventure, running one of the world’s toughest marathons in Sierra Leone for Street Child. There's still time to donate if you are able to.

Resurgo Trust
Resurgo's Spear Programme helps underserved young people into work or education.
The Spear Programme allows us to utilise our skills to benefit the trainees as they develop on the course. We conduct CV workshops, provide interview training and host educational days at our office, giving the trainees a view into the day to day of the corporate world
We hired Aliya, our team administrator, after she completed the Spear programme from Resurgo Trust.
Street Child
Street Child helps children into education in the world's toughest places.
We have made an investment in Sierra Leone by funding two schools, training teachers, improving water and sanitation and giving integrated social support for the most vulnerable children.
So far we've given 300 children an education that will start them on the path to change their world.
Evelina Children's Hospital
We fundraise for very innovative life-changing equipment at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
Retrieval ambulances help transport children from county hospitals to the Evelina and we are in the process of raising funds for a Wee-Sight Transilluminator which detects veins in young children to help administer life-saving medication.
